The Chronic Dev-Team only announced supported devices recently, which was met by global disappointment due to the fact that users were under the impression that GreenPois0n would jailbreak all devices enter GeoHot.day and that it would jailbreak ALL devices with a new bootrom exploit, i.e the iPhone 3G and 3GS.Obviously, those of you with an iPhone 3G or 3GS are delighted by the timing of his jailbreak, but I doubt the Chronic Dev-Team are. What are your thoughts on this? Are you still going to download GreenPois0n tomorrow, or are you now going to wait until Geohot releases more information on LimeRa1n.

This news has been confirmed by members of Chronic Dev Team on Twitter, to whom Geohot has confirmed about his return with a complete new tool dubbed as Limera1n. Chronic Dev Team of course isn’t too pleased with it, they want Geohot to save this new bootrom exploit for the future next-gen iPad 2 and iPhone 5 devices.Jailbreaking an iPhone will allow access to all sorts of apps, as well as freeing yourself from the confined cage that Apple allegedly keeps their users in. Jailbreaking your device, however, will leave the warranty with Apple worthless.
